OK its official! I can't get any time off for this event. My boss came back from her weeks holiday :evil: and told me I can't have the days off. Sorry guys, it looks like im missing out once again! I'll look forward to the videos and pictures!!

I held on a week to find out about this. So Im very sorry I won't be attending!!

Whats the reason given?

They cannot legally deny you time off unless the company will suffer financially.

i think it depends on your contract, if you have been given a set amount of holidays...(like me) then the company can decide not to give you time off out side those days....... :evil:
do what i'm going to do....be ill for a few days....... :twisted:

There are too many people off ill in the office so I need to be there to cover. It is very unfair but I can't do anything about it. Just the way things go im afraid.

There will be plenty of other events in the future so it aint all bad! :(
