The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Well, yeah - In an unofficial capacity at least.
A changing room would be nice, though.

Gah.

Quote:
Quote:As well as venue changes mentioned elsewhere on the board which have been out of our control, today we also finalised an agreement on a venue change of our choosing and for the better that we had been working on for the last few weeks. The dates remain the same, but in a change to what was previously announced, Collectormania Glasgow will be held at the Braehead Shopping Centre in Glasgow. We are really excited about this as we are taking the show away from a convention centre and putting it into a shopping centre like Collectormania, ensuring the event will be exposed to a much wider audience. This also means that the event is much closer to Glasgow Airport for anyone flying in, and for those who might be driving, it is just off the motorway and there is plentiful free parking. For those coming by train, there is a bullet bus that goes directly from the train station to the Centre.

So much for the chance of a nice big dealers' room like at Memorabilia... :(
Wonder if there'll be a Mem at the SECC to fill the gap?

[EDIT]
Ah...
It's not technically in the shopping centre.

Quote:"It's a nice enough place but I have no idea where the guests can go, unless you take over Debenhams for the weekend!"

We'll be in the arena.

There's been some rumblings over at the Showmasters board about the lack of updates for this - Some folk wondering if it's even happening.

I mailed Jason Joiner to ask what the deal was, and to see if there's any chance of a table for us again.
Good news :)

He told me:

thanks for all you did at c11 and if you want to be apart of any of the
shows just let us know thanks and talk soon

Hopefully Alien War will be up and running at this point so we could tie in a visit there too :) .

I would like to go to the opening of Alien War though. You never know we might get lucky and the two will coincide.

Any chance of a space on your floor if I do come up Rev?

Darren

I have a spare bedroom as well as floor space. I believe we can get Sandy's spare room too. My mother even offered a spare bed if we were struggling for space, so there's no shortage of space..:)

Well I actually maybe able to make this one with NO problems at all.

I`ve checked into rail & it`s rather good from where I am to Glasgow (Map from station to Collectormania would be appreciated).

Though if someone wants car company & doesn`t mind swinging by,I`m happy to chip in on Petrol.

Dossing info would certainly be appreciated.

Hello to all UKCM.

I was thinking of getting a minibus to take up north and pick people up on the way.

This will give as transport from the hotel to the shopping center.

Any one wants a life please say.

As the size of the minibus will reflex. Just add a little diesel money and it will be all go.

I looked at hotel and the one that we stay at, at the NEC is not too far away but I will try to find the distance and information.
