There is a distinct lack of information on how to sign up as a costumer, but if you go to the following Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/events/162854464155351/ There's a link to where you can register on their website, however you'll need to upload some pics of yourself and weapons etc, which can be found at http://www.feeltheforceday.com/register/costumer/ No idea what time we're supposed to be there for if general admission is 11:00am. I'll have to make a few enquiries. |

I've messaged them to ask if we need to register as individuals, or can register as a group |

Gooooooooood evening Colonial Marines! This is not a test. Time to rock it from the delta to the DMZ. I've spoken to the Feel the Force organisers, they are looking into whether there is a table available for the Colonial Marines. The building opens at 8am on the day, and everything needs to be ready to go by 10:30am; doors open at 11am until 6pm There is parking, changing area and food (Special dietry requirements - please bring your own) Please note that a large number of the guests are visually impaired so if you dont want something touched please leave it at home. Looking at their firearms and knives policy I would suggest where possible to avoid sidearms and roll with M240s, M41A's and M56's Both Crashdown and Bathors Lady have attended previously. I was going to post about this myself, but I see you beat me to it. All I will add is that there is LIMITED PARKING on site so if planning to attend GET THERE EARLY. I'll be there, I'm sure Bethor's Lady is attending as a Predator Huntress too. |

I would say its probably best to forgo a table. As an aside, I found an info piece on weapons etc on the website last night - ill try and post it but basically you can take weapons as long as you follow a couple of instructions, such as being registered as a costumer, post a picture and have it inspected on the day. Jade, as your in contact could you ask if this needs to be done for members going under the UKCM banner? http://www.feeltheforceday.com/costume-weapons/ |

Feel the Force wrote: We are really trying to work out or processes for London this year so we are aware this is a work in progress. The rule of thumb is: If it could be mistaken for a real weapon by a layman in the street, it needs to be registered. We'll do the checking upon arrival so no stress there.

Anyone thinking of attending Feel the Force day as a costumer should join this group if they wish to ask questions... https://www.facebook.com/groups/819562831537969/ If you are planning on attending as a costumer, you need to register using the web link I posted earlier and include pictures of your costume AND WEAPONS you are planning to bring on the day. There is info on the sign-up page as to what weapons are appropriate. Pulse rifles should be OK as they're not real weapons, BUT full metal VP-70 pistols wont, so I shall be bringing my resin pistol to this event. |
