Bringing my nephew and his girlfriend too (17 & 16), who are wanting to cosplay as Marines with us, so I'll probs be on the tap for lab coats and the like nearer the time lol.

We've been invited to attend GSCC at the Barrowlands Ballroom. This is the first event from this promoter in Glasgow, so we have an opportunity to be in on the ground floor and help make this event an asset to the local circuit. Phew finally one I can go to as it being in Glasgow makes it less 'panic attacky'. Hope my uniform is ok for it. Still waiting on my armour. Got a pulse rifle at least. Got my partner whom I'd like to bring with me to make it easier for my 'first time '. It'll be for the Saturday though, well I think just Saturday. I really want to meet you guys and get started with drops, build up my confidence. |

Hi guys. This is my first time doing anything like this, I'm very shy as in social phobic and I'd liked to have known the drill for tomorrow I.e time, is it flexible? Where do I go to get into the Barrowlands? I'm meeting folk who know each other so that's quite frightening for me as a 'newbie'. I've spent a fair bit getting gear together and want to do something I've dreamed of doing for over 20 years. Any advice for tomorrow then? Apart from the 8am ? |

Fabi73 me too, ive only done a few shows with the guys, and my kit i wear is far from screen accurate still, so well done for that. Other than that its show up at 8am n well all somehow find each other thru facebook posts etc at the time. Me and Gus will be turning up for 8 and waiting at the door to see who we find as per usual, so dont be shy if you see us, cant miss us tbh and we can all try n head in together i guess. Play it by ear, as they say
