The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Afraid I'm out.

I've got work to do on the bike, and I'm trying to arrange an uplift on my beetle before I have to scrap it

I've just had this email from Nicola Wilcock, the event organiser -

"I am just dropping you a message to say a huge thank you for all of your help at the weekend. The event was a huge success and we are looking at around a 17-22% increase in visitor numbers from 2016 and we have received nothing but positive feedback from the customers.

I am also delighted to tell you that you managed to collect £288.52 in the collection tubs over the two days for the Railway. If you could circulate this figure to your members it would be appreciated.

Once again, thank you and I will be in contact to discuss 2018’s event in the coming months."

When and if she contacts me later in the year about doing the event again in 2018, I'll create another drop thread.
