The Folkstonian Cinema in Kent is doing a showing of Aliens (special edition, I think) from 9pm on 5th December.

Proceeds will go to SSAFA, a UK armed forces charity.

They are approaching local hotels to try to get sponsership - they are keen to offer us hotel rooms to stay overnight. So it could be a night out too after?

The organisers have secured a free/sponsored 8-bedroom (!) suite for us at the Grand Hotel for the night of the showing.

All profits for the screening are going to charity, a changing area will be available and to top it all, we'll get to see Aliens on the big screen played from film.

We could just do with a few more sign-ups just to fill the accommodation...

At this point, the cinema are looking for 8 people (because of the size of their foyer). I need to negotiate to see if people can stand outside (without weapons) or somewhere else to get in on this. The accomodation should have plenty of room though so it might be that additional people can attend the showing and use the accommodation but not necessarily suit up before the showing.

So unfortunately, at this time, I've separated the readyline; Please let me know if you find out that you cannot attend so I can rejig the list.

I will update as soon as I know about additional numbers, and when I know the final plan/
