The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Hi everyone, I've been asked to host this year's Christmas party once again so I'm planning this around geek night.

I'm open for dates and will go with the majority

Please state which weekend you would like in December and I will do my best to accommodate.

There is a hotel next to me but it is £95 a night for a double bed

There is a selection of hotels within 5 minutes of HQ for those who don't want to camp at the restaurant

http://www.premierinn.com/en/hotel/EXEHON/exeter-m5-j29

http://www.expressexeter.co.uk/

http://m.hilton.com/mt/hamptoninn3.hilt ... index.html

The grange hotel doesn't have a website yet, as it has just opened but it is 30 seconds by car.

I'll see what I can do... It'd be good to get to a party for a change... Just make sure there's a suitable table for me to nap under for an hour...

Hey Kai,

I just checked out the hotels listed above - while those are within 5 min driving, didn't you tell me there was something closer within walking distance?

Let me know ... Thanks ...

Little1, this is the one within walking distance

http://www.grangecourthotel.co.uk/

there are also B&B's near by, the closest being Granger M though it's described as visiting your nan (01404 822304) and is 30 seconds walk from HQ
