The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

The UKCM have been invited along to this, and I for one reckon it looks epic.
There's a party on the Saturday night too, and parties generally have DJs, right? ;)

Al the organiser is good people & im sure he will help with anything he can.

One question, would it be a problem if I did just half a day with you guys (similar to what happened at woodhorn)?
The only reason is at the moment one of the other guys who does Vader cant confim his attendance, obviously if he does confirm then it will be the whole day.

I have booked one room in the venue hotel which can be cancelled if we get a better deal. However, the booking website suggested that the hotel is either rather full or occupied by a convention booking block that we don't know about.

Looks like fun // will have to see what my school/work schedule is like ... no clue if I'll have the time (or funds) to go !
And I want to -- I know a few of the guest list, would love to see them ! (and you guys too!)

How are people getting to this? I'm not sure I can manage the drive, but trains don't look fun either.

There's a secondary hotel that some of the congoers are using that will likely have rooms available - I'll try to get the details, as I forget which one it is off the top of my head

I currently have TWO rooms in the convention hotel booked for checkin Friday and checkout Sunday.
- The "Admiral Suite" (One huge bed and a jacuzzi) -£London Prices
- A double room (One double bed) - £55/night, but I did think it was £55 in total :(

Both can be cancelled up to 7 days before. I was planning on the 3/4 southern types sleeping in the suite and having it available to all for storage, daytime chill and UKCM hottubbing.

However, does anyone want to take on the other room? I will need to know - I will be cancelling it pretty soon.
