I have been contacted by Sega's PR company about Marines and Xenos to do various promo events. I worked with this company for AvP:2010 and they kept all their promises and were great fun to work with. However, as usual, the events are at quite short notice and the dates aren't 100% firm yet. All these will be in London; it is the centre of the universe for PR. I cannot make the publicity events, but might be able to do the filming - Abe is a jammy bastard and another company want his time over that week. Outline is as follows - dates are approximate:
These would be done with full expenses. Let me know if you want to take part and I will try and coordinate and get firmer plans. |

Meee! I've already been speaking to Scapey about the Filming next week and agreed to it, we've just got to sort out the train were meeting on and the PR event-Also no problem, any appointment's i have during that time period I can work around and re-arange, If expenses are paid for then I'm all in for this! Like my usual travel situation's the stuff over the 8th-15th I'd prefer it if i could meet someone on the train, *pokes at the hadrian's wall crewe* to travel with. |

If full expenses include paying for a hotel/B&B in London (also travel from France, although I can handle that I think - but it's worth a try!) then I'm in, for the 11th at least and however long they'd let me stay.. Otherwise, I don't think I can afford the trip as is... |

Current status is that they have asked for mattb and scouse trooper to get involved with an event on 11th Feb. Guys: I'll send you a PM shortly. It is likely that more dates will open up, and more people will be required. Please keep this thread up to date with your availability. |

The PR firm for the official have asked me if I could relay this message.... A gigantic Alien egg (around 6m tall) will be mysteriously appearing on Lawn 3 of London’s Potters Field Park on Monday 11th February to celebrate the launch of SEGA’s Aliens: Colonial Marines. The eerie and entrancing structure will be looming over the mayor’s office and Tower Bridge, completely open to the public as it is guarded by Colonial Marines who will also be on the look out for a stray Xenomorph that is said to have broken free in the area. Colonial Marines and the stray Xenomorph are available for photography, along with the egg, from 10am – 4pm. Guys, if anyone is in the area please come see us, am going to post this too on the FB uscm |
