The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Hey Chaps

So, looking to attend this with a display table. Spoke to the organizers and they have arranged a table for us, payments have been made by me under the UKCM. To again display prop replicas and (or) originals.

The pass for this will include Free Parking for one (maybe) two cars and roughly around 4 free entry bands.

I will have direction on who get a wristband.

Basically, the person to bring more props for the table will get a wristband. Also one wristband will go towards a driver for carting props.

I know this is early in the year. But arrangements need to be thorough.

This will be over the weekend of Friday 24th May 2013 - Sunday 26th May 2013

The UKCM will be working the table with the man himself who commissioned the Colonial Marines armor for Aliens and the Weyland-Yutani Commando helmets for Alien3. Terry English. Terry will be at the Table with his art from the movie and hopefully the original set of Hudson armor from Aliens. Terry will be signing Autographs (prices TBC) on the day. Bits and bobs will be able to be bought and seen. So sign up on THE READY LINE below and come and chat with him about some armor even Aliens ;)

He really loves the costuming group and considers it an honor to be invited to the event and the table.

I'll be making a list of things that would go on the table. This is only going to be a 6ft x 4ft so props limited. Once the table has been split. It will be 3ft x 4 ft for UKCM and 3ft x 4ft to the SPECIAL GUEST

Keep Updated, Marines!

I've made a booking at the Custom House Hotel (the one across the road from Excel), for three twin rooms for 2 nights Fri-Sunday. The booking is £75 per room per night, but can be cancelled. I would guess it would be possible to get a third person in the rooms if they don't mind taking to the floor.

Cheer's men.

I will do Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Just drive up early for Friday and park in the under ground area.

Hotel is custom House or the Premier Inn Hotel????

Booking now would be a good idea just to cost and Permier is bigger rooms and closer. I will have a look at prices.

The hotel I have booked is the Custom House Hotel. I would dispute the fact that the Premier Inn is closer. But the rooms in the Custom House Hotel are small.

If you need to take over then please do.

Take a look at the prices - if it's not too much more then bigger rooms might be good.

The Premier Inn London Docklands (Excel) are sold out for the Friday night.

Sat 25th May 2013 is £109 per night that a rip off.

This was a twin room with no Breakfast.

So Garth the Custom House is a go. Last time me and Burce stayed at the Custom House there was very little floor space and that was the time one room was being used as a changing room, You remember Gareth as Paul want to get change at 6 and made you walk back and fore.

Just out of interest, if there are more attendees than there are wristbands, is there any way the organisers would let us buy extra? Ive no problem paying I'd just like to avoid the 3 hour queueing session if possible! (although I would very much like to repeat the scotch egg and chilli beef pastie buffet...)
