I don't have many details, nor an idea of how many people are required for this yet. I'm awaiting confirmation.

Sega is looking for us to help out at this event. Should be a big event, and a certain yellow and black statue is likely to be involved ...

When you can, let me know if you're interested in attending, which days and your requirements for travel expenses. I need to look into hotels and costs for us all soon.

If it is acceptable to only commit to 1-2 days then I can have a word with Karyn, would love to if it is anyway possible. :D

Rezzed was good fun and SEGA looked after us well.

People only doing one or two days should be fine.

The hotel is not decided at this point. Potentially, we would be put up in the same hotel as the Sega guys and QA testers near the event.

I'll talk to you about this one Gareth; if that statue is there I'll probably get some coverage of the troops posing with it, etc. Could be cool. Certainly looks that way in the photo's I've seen. That said I'll probably try for a press pass.

Did it on my android phone, something went wrong. And the less said about my chatroom experiment with the phone, the better.

Same issue for me, copy and paste is a nightmare to use for some strange reason when using the input/ editing of posts here.

This drop seems to be missing something.

Oh yeah, ME!!!!

Or at least put me down for a maybe since I want to do EMS in October and I'll have to check with the boss that I'm allowed to come out and play two weekends in a row.

Its probably worth mentioning that this is a corporate gig, as opposed to a regular drop.

We will be there on behalf of SEGA, so it will be folks in costume manning the Aliens: Colonial Marines stand all day.

If you are planning to come without an Aliens costume and not prepared to work the stand, its highly unlikely that we are going to be able to organise any free entry, changing space, parking etc for you.

I would be happy to help, along with Rob,DK and his friend, would that be ok

I'm DJing on the Thursday night in Glasgow, but am up for coming down on the Friday morning and doing Sat/Sun.

7/ DKMax Saturday/Sunday

9/ Scapey - Saturday / Sunday

Just to clarify, it's highly likely that free entry to this show will be severely limited, so priority will go to folk with Bug suits, then complete Marine costumes ( i.e. armour ) /dropship pilots ( With helmets ) etc.
Also, those who have previous experience at costumed Drops will also be given higher priority than those for whom this would only be their first or second event.

We're NOT trying to be all red-tape-and-bullshit here, but we ARE tightening the ship a bit this year as regards UKCM organisation ( Shuttit. It's totaly NOT an oxymoron! ) and how we deal with the organisers of the various shows and events that we attend in any sort of "official" capacity... And that goes double for corporate gigs like this one.
