That is exactly what I want to avoid. After some poor experiences with PR companies, I will say this: We will work our asses off to help Sega out with this game, but we'll be doing it because we want to; Whether that is because of the exposure, freebies, travel, or more likely because it's shaping up to be a game that we'll all love (and for extra excuses to meet up). I'll also not going to allow the nature of the UKCM to change to cater to the needs of "the company", mainly because I don't think we have to. We're capable of being awesome, professional and fun at the same time and that casual competency fits well with the characters from the film and, I'd imagine, those in the game.
If people would prefer to do this show to LFCC or do Saturday in Brighton and Sunday in London then that is cool but no one should feel pressured to change their plans.
Well, we've always worked our butts off for other events and PR companies in the past, so I can't see us changing that work ethic any time soon.
We've had hit and miss with PR companies in the past, some take us for a ride, others treat us nicely. Sadly, I think thats just the luck of the draw.
As for SEGA, I like them and its nice to be dealing directly with them. Whats more, from what I saw at the weekend, they really do appreciate what we do, and that makes me want to do as much as I can for them.
Gareth's right though, no one has to change their plans if they don't want to.
I put my name forward for Rezzed purely for the fact that we have started out so well with the folks at SEGA that it would be nice to keep that momentum going. Also, you never know, we might be asked if we have any ideas of our own to help promote the game, and I get the feeling that SEGA would be willing to hear us out.
Thats just my 2 pennies though

Which is why im happy to help out in anyway, we were appreciated and treated good by SEGA and Gearbox, i even got a hug at the end lol
