The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

I fixed the coke and lemonade. Kim switched off the pump/cooler at the mains thinking she was switching the till off. It was a awesome weekend! Still clearing up waiting for (and colin) to pick up his stuff and airing out the Abe room.

Thank you very much to Kai and Kim. You guys made the weekend an excellent one as well with the weather.

The drop was fantastic, food was excellent and the pool party was something else. :)

Anyways guys. Hope all are well.

Winch finally down and clear!

The journey home was almost as much "fun" as the trip down but the Drop itself was AWESOME in so many ways nice to see new faces and meet up with old friends!

Rich hope you made it to work on time? ;-)

Gareth I completely forgot to thank you again for handing over your raffle prize I am sure you will be receiving a thank you message from a very happy little Doctor Who fan in due course!

Bruce I realised on my way home I still owe you for my patches! Please PM me how much and I'll sort it out ASAP. :delta:

Lisa I hope Timber is OK and I look forward to seeing you in your own Marine Uniform soon! ;-)

Kai great to meet you and the lovely Kim. You have an amazing venue and the event was one of the best drops I've ever attended I will definitely be back again! Might even investigate if it's cheaper to FLY to Exeter Airport in future! ;-)

Kevin again it was nice to put a face with a boardname and avatar! :)

Steve a pleasure as always and thanks for not killing any of the snorers in their sleep!

Callum I think you made the right choice getting the train this time! Always a pleasure mate!

Andy Spencer for one of the shortest Armoured appearances in recorded history! ;-)

Karin Shields for dealing more tactfully than I could have with the question "Do those Lightsabres really work"!

Hope to see you all again soon.

This weekends drop was brought to you by the words "Sunburn" and "Paddling Pool" and the phrase "Better than Alan's"

Guys and Gals... ive given up on using superlatives where the UKCM are involved.

Once again, as with the Exewing Peco event the UKCM as a whole stepped up to the plate and smashed the ball out of the park. First feet on the ground to last to leave everyone of you played your parts in this event not only with the setting up and taking part but also becoming the heart and soul as well.

I expected nothing less and once again you delivered..... no shock there.

I will not single out individuals as we move as one. The pictures and comments speak for themselves. I have to thank Spiderpool and KLS (formally known as Kai and Kim) for thier outstanding hospitality... but as for the rest of you i can say only one thing... you can share my executive pool... ANYTIME!

Thank you... I salute you all with full Morecambe and Wise WITH ADDED ballet leg!

Bazfish.

Just a quick update, we finally raised £786.01 for the charity. Well done guys I'm proud to be a part of the UKCM!

Thanks to Steve for picking up the coppers and thanks to a unknown individual who was throwing them back out again for steve to keep searching

Big up to Baz for making it such a great weekend. I think future drops may have to start on the Friday as it was a bit intense and we didn't get to do the Prometheus vs twilight screening.

And finally a big thank you to everyone else who stepped up and did there part

Much bro love

Spiderpool

My apologies there Kai, myself, Spanky Ham and McCready were having a death match of who can catch the coin bag upon our head. :/

But, glad the coppers were picked up. Again, my apologies.

No apologies needed, I was just laughing at the fact that one of the OCD brothers was out there searching for these coins by sight when i had a metal detector round the back and the fact someone one kept throwing the coins back out for Steve to find. We shall now call this type of scenario "fetch"
