The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Righty... I should be able to make this.

I've got a bash to attend in Plymouth during the daytime Saturday, but should be able to come up for a few drinkies Friday, back for the Evening Bash Saturday/Sunday.

Will good to see you both!

All: Remember - we are looking for costumes for the Friday night disco/karaoke. I will have dancing fat Godzilla for what might be his last outing!

Also, we are looking for donations for auction and raffle. Kev Osmotic is running the auction so hand any items to him.

We will have at least one hot tub, opening as the event is winding down on the Saturday (and maybe Friday night..) ! So bring swimwear. That includes you, Matt! ;)

My friday night costume actually includes swimwear. So I will have swimwear. Whether it stays on or not is anyone's guess.

And Kai will not be cooking breakfast - so you either bring your own, or PM me about breakfast sandwiches.

Looks like the weather is going to be hot!

I will be assisting Kai by acting as costumer liaison. If you have any issues on the day then come see me - I will have a selection of costume-fixing equipment, and I should be able to locate other items in the restaurant.

Changing for costumers will be in a large static caravan at the back of the building. We would appreciate it if costumers park their vehicles on the grass besides the caravan - this will allow us to keep the caravan clear of suitcases etc, and will allow you to stow valuables and street clothes in your car while in costume.

The caravan will have a fridge, kettle and a shower. Unfortunately, there is no toilet in the bathroom. The living room will be for chilling and will have an airconditioner, so it would be good if the door and windows can be kept closed. The two bedrooms are to be used for changing - the windows in those rooms can be opened.

For using the shower, bring a towel/soap. If you'd like to use the hot tub then bring swimming gear!

I definitely can't make it - Was hoping for a cheap last-minute flight, but they're still about £600 for me, so unless there's a miraculous drop come tomorrow... :(

I'll be there in spirit though! Hope it goes well and you all have a blast... Without TOO much exposure of genitalia :p
