The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

That was the plan as it easy, dry than out side and straight into the halls and close to the pub.

I got room for 8 suitcase in my van.

I was going to ask the same question. I'll only have a smallish bag though.

Not sure what time I'll get there tomorrow, but it won't be too late.

Wow, glad you managed to pin Bill down for some photos. Had a great day yesterday and enjoyed the Paxton panel but for me the highlight of the day was the two hour queue where i finally got to have a chat to a couple of you guys. Massive thanks to Steve (Data) for taking the time out to show me your toys and especially for letting me handle your rifle (ooohh argh!!). You all looked awesome and seeing you guys do your thing made my day!

Oh yeah, can't forget the 2 hour queue and the £10 charge to be allowed out of it. Don't pay the fee, back to the end of the queue for you!

It was great to see Bill, even if I didn't get a handshake (I'm not bitter, honest).

Down and clear!

Well that was, frankly, awesome.

Got to Expo early with the idea of grabbing a ticket and having a mooch around before it got too busy. The ticket hall was full before 9. Yeah, scratch that idea, so had a bite to eat whilst waiting for the rest to arrive, bumped into Baz, found everyone else, got armoured up, and in the best UKCM tradition went straight to the Fox.

Decision was made (Somehow - its still not clear how this happened) to try and get tickets in time for Bill Paxton's talk - and it turned out to be a very good decision.

Utilizing a two-team assault strategy, a recon team made a initial penetration (yes, Munkey made a penetration) whilst the main assault element, carrying supplies such as chicken strips, mini scotch eggs, and the devastating mini chilli beef pasties, made its advance into the horrors of the Expo Queue.

TBH it says something about the quality of the people your with when they can make a two hour queue enjoyable.

Anyway, into Expo for Bill's enjoyable talk, and thanks to Baz for setting up a quick photo for us.

Bill looked genuinely happy to see us, jumped straight in for a photo and then signed some stuff for us!

Pete was getting his posters signed, and was trying to get it flat so I grabbed an end, and while standing there, the cogs started turning..

"Excuse me Bill, would you mind signing this?" handing him my pulsey.

"Hey, no problem!" Not only did he sign it, I got 'Game over, man'!!!

I think thats the closest i've ever got to a proper full on fangirl squee. Mind you, it was also the look on Rich's face when I went over and said 'Hey Rich, look at this!" I believe Rich now holds the indoor 10m dash record.

Bill Paxton - What a guy!

Then a final trip to the Fox, where innuendo was rife, the Beaver was deployed and sunsets were observed...

Home to a nice dinner and Smokey and the Bandit on TV.

Perfect day? Pretty close man....pretty close.

Thanks to all you guys - missing you all already.

It was a quality weekend and great as always to see you all.

Bill was surely one of the nicest 'celebrities' I've met. I think he was genuinely flattered by the reception we gave him. Let's hope he comes back to the UK soon.
