Bigger report of the weekend:
After two trips to London on Friday (mainly to get all the gear there without killing me by doing it in one go and I had to be at home in the evening for a caller), had a few drinks with the early arrivers that night.
Bright and early on Saturday, started carting all the stuff between the hotel and Earls Court to set the table display up:

Decided not to wear armour on the Saturday, just the Sunday, in case it tired me out too much.

I did wear my greaves on Saturday, just to add something, but more on those later.
The presentation of Al's ALGA went great, he got a little choked up by it, then wouldn't have a pic taken with it unless we were in the pic too, hence the ones on my camera have me next to Al, with others pics having a load of us behind Al.
I might be able to crop the pic for the wall of fame, so will work on that later.

Edit: Along with the ALGA certificate and wings, I gave Al one of the 25th anniversary Sulaco challenge coins.
I reminded Al that a few months ago he'd mentioned on Facebook about missing his favourite Aunt Jemima's pancake mix and Log Cabin Corn Syrup, with me replying "I'm on it!" like Hudson.
He looked stunned and said "That was you?!" "Yup, and you'll be getting some tomorrow." His face lit up.
Edit: Al told me he was going to get his UK-based daughter to ship the mix and syrup to him, as he only had hand luggage going back home.

Big thanks to Glenn for lugging it up on Sunday (I told you it was heavy), and for carting back Arfur's head too. I owe you one/several.
Saturday was very busy, with lots of UKCM cards and leaflets being taken/handed out and some very interested people asking questions, so we should see some new members on the forums soon.
I finally got to meet Seán George (Captain Jack Sparrow) and Joanne Marriott (Xena) after we'd missed each other for ages.
Now, at the end of the Saturday, Dan (bugstomper101) wanted to store his stuff in my hotel room while we all went for drinks in the pub.
As we got to my hotel room and freshened up/changed clothes, Dan found the switch for the ceiling fan, which was very nice

, after that we left for the pub.
After meeting G and co, Gareth noticed I was still wearing one of the greaves.
Dan had wondered why we were being looked at by the public as we walked along the road.
Sunday, more carting stuff back to the show, although we did leave some minor stuff there overnight.
Highlight of the Drop was getting to play A:CM while Al was sitting next to me!
I wore armour all day, including for my photoshoot with Al, which was especially good as someone in front of me gave Al a cigar, so the pics after that all had Al with the cigar in his mouth.
Will digitise my two photoshoot pics when I get to work tomorrow and will add them to my Flickr set.
Not quite as busy on Sunday, but still pretty good.
Gave the ALGA to Ralph, who then took a pic of us, taking a pic of him.
He said he always does that and he loves those pics.
I'd like to thank my helpful minions for carrying a lot of my shit to and from the hotel and to all the UKCM at the show for making it a very enjoyable few days.

Not looking forward to going back to my mundane job tomorrow though.
