The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

I've decided to drive to the hotel tomorrow morning, as I doubt I'd be in any fit state to do anything after lugging R2 all over the trains/Underground/DLR network.

Never driven in London before, so it should be.....interesting.

Absolutely blinding weekend. 8)

I even got my photo taken a few times.

Feeling knackered now, so will just veg out in front of the TV tonight and then get back to normality (or a facsimile of it) tomorrow. :)

Finally back home now. Ranger Smith and myself had a great time! ;)

BTW, did anyone get any pictures of Bri? With all the excitement we forgot to take a pic of him in his uniform.

Things I learnt/realised over the weekend;

1. The giraffe is the only creature able to teabag a human while the human is in a standing/upright position.

2. A man can have a purple face and still be alive afterwards.

3. No matter if the place is empty or completely full, restaurants can still take ages to serve food.

4. Even with a plushie facehugger hanging from my grenade strap, I still got asked "Are you a soldier from Star Wars Battlefront?"

Oh well, I shall just use it as an excuse to dress him up again. ;)

Things I learnt:

1) Follow the Predator and get free entry.

2) 'Troon is one sweaty individual.

3) The UKCM are a bunch of badasses!

4) Abe is the nicest Alien a girl could ever hope to meet.

5) Fraz rocks for letting me wear his armour.

6) Free hugs are not as nice as they sound.

7) NEVER leave your phone on the table.

8 ) The UKCM are obsessed with giraffes.

9) Darren is actually Ben Affleck

My pics (what few there are) are up on my site now.

Got home last night around 8:00ish.

Bloody London is a nightmare but soon as I was on the A316 it was smooth driving and very little traffic on the road.

Great drop and nice to see you all again and two new faces.

Plus I have a great night sleep Sunday night.

Simon can you tell me the model number of the TomTom as there a few out there.

Cheer's Steve
