The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Nice to meet you too Jason... thank you for confirming my tea-making skills!! lol :D

You will indeed be seeing me again soon I expect... started and finished the Pulse Rifle last night! The kit was a right ba**ard to get together... almost needed to modify every step and the bag was missing a few hex-screws but it's done and done well! :)

I need to take the shroud off slightly to get access to the clip... it is currently wedged tight and I can't get it out which was a slight annoyance... but I'll get it out somehow!! :D

Thanks again Jason for being my Arms Handler and dropping off the Thompson... I can confirm to you all none of my 4 new grenades are the explosive one DATA has made!!

Big thanks to Rich for putting us up, and also to Gina for putting up with putting us up  . .

Also thanks to Rich for coming to our aid when the car conked out, plus driving us to the station Sunday. Cheers mate!

In case you didn't hear, the car Russ, General Harris and I were in broke down and was too expensive to fix, resulting in it being scrapped. The car belonged to Russ' s flat mate so it was a particularly unfortunate day for Russ who spent most of the time away from the con trying to salvage the wretched beastie, but alas, attempts at saving the motor were in vain.

So special props' to Russ for still getting back and donning the Alien Whore suit to make a new first for the UKCM – FOUR (count 'em) BUGS at one show!

Also many thanks to Vicky and Ranger Smith for beyond the call hospitality on Saturday night – you did a great job hosting guys – thanks for letting us in to your home (you crazy, or wot? :o ) and for a great night in your screening room!

Simon – thanks for bringing the Sentry Gun. This is a fantastic piece and my personal favourite UKCM scratch build. I must have missed a post on this gun because it deserves a post all of its own.

DATA – great job on your Pulse Rifle, mate. Very impressed. And the grenades where without doubt beautifully made, I was really glad to see these in person – really nice work. If you do any more I will be at the front of the queue!

Great to see everybody as usual: some new grunts (Gemma); I (almost) photographed Dangerous Rick smiling (next time, buddy!); Darren in his BSG pygamas, not to mention full on thesp-mode!; a new monkey for Munkey and, oh yeah, the Techno Viking Comeback Tour starts here! :D

Martin,Great to hear you got it done mate. I had a feeling that would be the case ;)
Looking forward to seeing you at a Drop very soon mate :D

Ahh yea I forgot the bushes, some fell of their own accord, some of course were "Helped". Of course Teckno Viking wouldn`t have anything to do with that would he

have to say "The Hudson Death" by Darren was the best scene we re-enacted during our "ROCKY ALIENS SHOW".

Though Vicky should play Rugby for ENGLAND,we have our very own kicker with the perfect kick. Though the UKCM are trying to bribe for the foot to be a few inches lower next time ;)

Had a blast people & I look forward to the next with you all my Good friends :D
