The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

 Noodle Bar was my absolute favourite place to eat in Leicester. Followed by a slightly drunken amble over the road to Po Na Na. I generally forgot what happened after that...

Yeah, cos Chinese restaurants never allow latecomers. ;)

If it's anything like previous years, we won't be eating til late. Give us a ring when you arrive, we'll save you a seat!

Guys anybody wanting to come along to the Noodle Bar as part of the bigger group please let me know as we are booking the upstairs for 9pm on Friday.

If you want to get there a little earlier (I know how Abe likes to eat before it gets dark... damn furballs!) we will see you over there after the set up has finished.

Abe and Gareth D.A.C. PlasticPrincess is currently on her way on the tube.

What a great weekend. Big thanks to Malika for having us, the UKG for inviting us to their great knees-up on Sat night and particularly Teri Aldersey for sorting some stuff out for me.

Huge thanks to Ian and Amy Whyte for not only tolerating but enjoying our drunken geeky company. Ian's commentary on AvP (on Channel 4 on Sun night) was both fascinating and hilarious.

Special thanks to fate and Malika for organising a special treat for Abe on Monday afternoon ... ;) and thanks to Gemma for hanging around waiting while Abe videowhored.

And thanks to all that attended; great show guys and gals.

ADC down and clear. :)

Thanks to Darren for going out of his way and giving me a lift! :D
Thanks to TV's for letting me share his room! :D

Cheers to the UKG for inviting us to the event, especially Malika,
thanks M for everything – it was a great event and I think the
exhibition also is really good. :D
And I appreciate you letting me wander around to film!

Cheers to Data, G, Abe, Jo and Terry English for filming bits.
Big cry out to Si for bringing el Sentry for me to film. :D

Same goes for Amy and Ian Whyte for filming a bit of Ian's
commentary of AVP – what where the chances of that being on tv at
the hotel that night?

Thanks to Mr Fish and his accomplice Mr Jack, aka 'Twix': a UKCM
operative on an ongoing and extremely covert mission to ensure supply
lines get safe passage to weary grunts.

Plastc Princess down and clear.

I had an absolutely brilliant weekend and it was fantastic to see everyone.

Special thanks to G for driving me there and back and to Si for generously removing the prawn from a prawn cracker for me! I love Noodle Bar. And cheers to everyone who bought me a drink over the weekend - there seemed to be an awful lot of offers.

:D

Harry Harris down & clear!

I want to echo the thanks already given to everyone involved, and a particular shout to Tony Velda for picking my collection up on Friday; thanks matey!

A big thanks also to Tony and AC/DC... erm, I mean ADC, Darren Gareth and Gemma and for working to make my display area a bit safer (we reworked the barrier to make it much harder to lean across and grab stuff!).

My apologies for not being around and hanging with the UKCM much during the day. I offered to operate the sound & video for the UKG Ghostbusters show in the Space Theatre - a big well done to all involved in that one too. It's beeee-hiiiind you!!! :)

To Terry English for being a true gentleman as always, and to Ian & Amy for putting up with us fan-boys (hee hee!).

Thanks also to the UKG for their kindness and friendliness, and for organising a fantastic ball on Saturday night. It was great to see so many good friends again.

Lastly of course a massive thank you to Malika for everything she did both for us and for the HHACA.

I'm off for some well deserved hypersleep now. ;)

Harry
