The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

I'll say again, just so that other people don't blindly panic:

If you need to know how to complete your journey despite the closures (they happen every weekend in London - the centre of the universe runs just fine!), go HERE and enter:
  • Your origin in London (eg Waterloo)
  • Your destination (Olympia 2 is Postcode W14 8UX)
  • Your time of travel (Sat 28th Nov?...)

That way, it will give you a few different choices about how to do the journey, taking into account the closures. I'd recommend you pick one with the least changes.

I do that every time i go to London, always plan your route, i got to go one route to the show but on Sunday i got to do a slightly different route coming home, that's why i always write it down on a index card and carry it in my pocket,

You think they don't want us to use public transport at weekends..

Another great one, yes.

Huge thanks to everyone involved! Abe and I had a great time. ADC's documentary is awesome - amazing work!

Cythia Scott was (as the guys over the pond have said) really friendly and great fun. I think she really loved meeting up with Trev again.

So, again, the UKCM is awesome. ;)

We missed you Rich.
Thanks to everyone for a great weekend.

Special thanks to Gareth for organising the screening room, going down there last week and sorting it out. Well done mate.
Steve (DATA) - many thanks mate for letting me crash in your room, you're welcome at my place as you know anytime.
Top man.
And great job finding that hotel, it was ace. Which leads me to thanking Artur, the landlord, who obviously won't see this
but what a top guy for all he did, which included giving us his PC to play the film.

Good to see you all once again. Well done to Munkey for presenting the awards, Baz for letting him outta the cage in
order to do so. Great to see Harry -- but too brief! Andy and Glenn, thanks for the feedback on the film.

Darren and G-man for recording some new voiceover yesterday and today, total stars.

Cynthia & Trevor rocked! Rich, disappointed I didn't see your art! Next time.
Simon and Gem -- sorry I forgot your orders, loves! Great to see ya.

I'm currently back working on the film, please PM or email me any comments regarding what you think was lacking or
didn't work, what you didn't like, where it might have lagged/dragged for you, if parts were boring to you, etc -- all the
negatives, please. There are some areas that need sorting still so this would be really useful feedback.
Don't worry about hurting my feelings it doesn't have that affect on me.

Hope to see you all soon, some of you at Avatar on Dec 19!
ADC

Clangers down and clear........eventually.

The result just in:

Weekend with you guys: One hundred million.

Travelling on British Rail to be with said guys: Minus ten hundred billion!

Enough about the travel, I'm sure Bazfish (who now only travels first class!) will chip in when he's stopped smashing BR executives over the head with a heavy railway timetables!

The event itself was very enjoyable, Olympia seems like an odd but interesting venue, lots of nook and crannies to explore. A good spread of guests, merchandise and punters.

Cynthia Scott: Wow! What a truly lovely person, why isn't she running the country, any country! :D

She really is down to earth, personable, kind, passionate, game for a laugh, and can still handle a flamethrower better than anyone! :)

Trevor and Alison, diamond geezers the both of them!

The evening meal and ADC Documentary: Excellent, despite a few minor teething problems it was an absolutely fantastic evening.

Who'd of thought, us, sitting down to a meal with Dietrich and Wierzbowski, watching an Aliens movie, about us!

OUTSTANDING!

A great venue, and a very helpful Landlord.

Well done G and Steve for sorting, finding that!

ADC, you've done an amazing job, it really captures what it can mean to be a fan of the Aliens movie franchise, and how rewarding it can be to share that passion with other like minded fans.

I had quite a few people who asked me to pass on their thanks for letting them see it, and how much they enjoyed it.

You set yourself quite a task with this project and I think you've surpassed yourself, a very well done.

I hope you didn't find any of my Saturday night waffle too boring or tiresome.

I really think that once you've tightened up the bits you've already identified your gonna be there with it.

It was great to meet up with old friends again, and to have made some new ones *waves at all the new peeps I met*

The Pred crew, Great costumes, Great people.

Sam, looking forward to seeing.....Sam!

Rich, I wanted to see your drawings too, I kept getting a glimpse of the folder.

Harry, great to see you again, only one day though....you slacker!!:P

Rich, Jon & Pixie, PVB, Vicky, TV, Rick, Woody, The Northern crew, and all the usual suspects, etc, etc, it was a real shame you couldn't be there, in fact it's a shame the whole board couldn't be there! :(

Next time!

Cheers,

Andy
