The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Jon, Geordie etc,

I'm sure you're aware (seeing as I harp on about it every day) that my USCM costume is coming together nicely. I'm very confident it will be ready in time, so I'd like to express my interest in being part of the AE.

Thanks!

We will also need to make sure anyone wanting to be in the AE can pull off being a marine
There will be some type of audition prosess

Makes me think it'll be a UKCM version of X-Factor. :D

I would say dress rehersal, although I couldn't be sure, Quothcorvus is the man to speak to about the AE.

The plan so far is

People who wernt in the AE last year will have to show us there stuff

Then we will run through the AE

Those who are not involved in the AE there willbe lots of jobs to do round the NSC setting up for the weekend

I'm sure more hands the better.

Care to elaborate on what we'll have to 'do'?

Now that I've found the right paint for my armour...

As PVB asked, care to elaborate? A little time to practice goes a long way. :)

I would imagine Jon or Geordi would be the best person to answer this is full but I would have thought it would very much be a relaxed audition.

They’re going to want to make sure the illusion of realism is maintained for the paying public so they are going to want to see that your costumes meets those requirements. Additionally I would imagine that they would want to give you a run through the scenario to see if your ‘in character’ acting will be suitable.

Best advice: Make sure your costume looks good and practice your Marine face.

We will give you a copy of the script b4 the event for you to learn
Then we will listen to you and put you in on a run trough to see how it was done last year

Then we will put you in one of the rolls, and see how you do.

But please, please, please do dont get upset, offended, pissed off or hate anyone if you dont get picked

I would love it it you do get picked as it will mean that we will have more people in there so we can spend more time doing other costuming

I can't remember much else; apparently I lost consciousness pretty fast.
