The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

With just over 5 weeks to go is there any up dates on this event about work party's, jobs, parts in the AE and any out standing things that we need to make or bring to this event another hit evening for the group.

Just to confirm, I will definitely have the Xeno ready for this one. I'm on the home straight so all is good in the world.

I can also bring up any other bits required. I've got a couple of mannequins that I can sling armour on and bring up any accessory parts such as Pulse Rifle, motion tracker etc if required.

Great idea! Looking forward seeing your Alien in live.
Let me know if you need help for table duty/looking after your props or on Sunday for loading.

I'll be travelling up past Brum at some point....

Can't exactly say when it will be during the day. I've got a 4 hour journey prior to getting to Birmingham!

If no-one else is available, then I am sure I can swing by at what ever time I get up there.

Frank, I may be able to give you a lift, as I'm possibly staying in Birmingham on the Thursday night. Let me just figure out some logistics :)

Something else that needs addressing...
Friday night is Halloween!!!! I fully intend to finish up in the Encounter, get another costume on (or even just stay in armour), then head into town.
Anywhere good to go?

That would be great! :)

Considering it wouldn't start without you I could be there in time for sure.
I will read the script over the weekend and update you on my science guy props/costume.
Do we have space for a 2.2m height and 4, wide APC Banner? I could finally pick up mine at the last Con. I Also have the new AL Banner (horizontal for the table) and a vertical roll up.

Anyway if you need it; I have it and it’s small/light I can bring it with me.

Cheers,
Frank

We will have quite a large display area near the Nerf range so any and all display material will be most welcome.

Once i get confirmation from the NSC about the times of the talks I'll be able to finish up the rota for peoples duties on the nights.

Nah Hugh, I'm just not interested in it anymore. Plus I'd rather not feel like shit for being in Abi for such a long period of time with little break between.
