Well I just went down to suss out the infestation, and sadly it appears the company has beat our boys to it. No sign of any UKCM presence unfortunately but I did manage to get a quick snap on my phone. The egg is epic!

The UKCM is there maybe they are rounding up some bugs?

The egg was still in the process of being assembled so assume the UKCM lads where either kitting up or staying in the warm / dry! Its quite a sight, recommend venturing down there if anyone else is based in central London.

How long will the egg be out for? Is it just today or perhaps for more of the week?

Right guys, at time of photo was taken, it was still in process of being set up and while this was happening we stayed in the warmth of the cafe that's just to the left of the egg.


Wanna hear some upsetting news........... That egg was made of polystyrene and now it's served it's purpose will now be smashed up and in a tip tomorrow

We could have had it, only nowhere to store and even if we did we would be looking at £1000 to ship it

Just got back after a very tiring (I feel like I've been run over by a truck. Twice) but enjoyable day at GAME in Chatham.

Big thanks to nick-a-tron for spending the day with me as my dresser and Mountain Dew go-getter.

Got staff discount and traded in Far Cry 3 to get the game and guide for both of us.

Got home and the Amazon fairy had left a parcel with my neighbour, so I have the Collector's Edition too.

The GAME (UK) version is installing fine on a US 360, so if the CE version does too (no reason why it shouldn't) that'll help anyone trying to get the CE version in the US, as they could get ours instead.

A couple of pre-teen boys: "Are you Halo 4?"
Me: (pointing to the exit) "Get out."
(I did explain to them who I was and why I was there after that)

A rough looking bloke in his 20s/30s: "The game's crap!"
Me: "Have you played it?"
Man: "Nah, I only play GTA and football games."

Me: (near the end of the day, telling the store manager about how knackered I felt) "I need a rub down from Lorraine Kelly!"
