The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

A (hopefully) final tweak of the box art and text. If nothing else is suggested, I'll get them printed on Friday, as the store want to put them up this weekend. :)

My local store have asked for A3 posters, but will take a couple of A2 ones just in case. :)

Here's the PDFs, in case anyone else wants them:

A3:

Posters delivered, asked a few local fans (including nick-a-tron) to help out on the day. :)

AFAIK, the shop will not be doing a midnight launch, so normal hours (9:00am to 5:30pm) for the day.

For anyone looking at doing a release day drop at HMV, you may have to make new plans - it Looks as though HMV have gone into administration. I feel so sorry for all the staff and their families. Just terrible news, the High street won't be the same without them :( I really hope a buyer can be found.

Popped down to Game just now and the A3 posters do look rather small in the huge front windows, not helped by them being stuck either side of the deep doorway frame, so they're easy to miss. :?

Spoke to a girl behind the counter about the launch date and she didn't even know the posters were in the window.

Don't want to push it too hard with the manager, but I have a feeling nobody's going to know about it on the day.

If I wasn't already commited to the Chatham branch, Hempstead Valley's in my area, so could have gone there instead. :)

Don't know of any other members who could do Hempstead, as nick-a-tron's helping me at Chatham and Glenn's out of action. :?

You need to go into the police station next to the town hall, if need be take your weapons with you as well as photos of your weapons as well as any troops you've done in costume.
Ideally show photos first before pulling out the weapons.

I've dealt with Eastbourne police before on this type of events and you'll be surprised on how helpful they are.
