The organizer of Dragondaze (Simon Powell) has asked me if I would create a Readyline for his event later this year. The venue is the Newport Leisure center (Newport, South Wales). It is a single day event which he organizes with the proceeds going to Barnados. My brother and I, Doug and Jo have attended this event for the last few years. we are always welcomed, well looked after and appreciated. Simon tries to book plenty of costumers for the day to give the public some variety however several groups have a habit of pulling out at the last minute and leaving him short handed. With that said there is normally a nice group of mixed costumes to be seen here. In years past, costuming attendees have been given a lunch voucher, a changing room is organised and the event staff are always great. I'm sure this year will be the same. I managed to find my Login. We have stars this year too, Pam Rose and Virginia Hey so far. Will be great to see you all again, I'm still chuckling about last years Dino Doug. |
