I am having a heck of time trying to drill some holes to rivet the ear piece on my pot. Any tips to make this easier or am I just not trying hard enough? |

High speed cutter disc to make an X, drill at the center of the X.. use oil. I also have luck using a blowtorch to draw the temper to soften the steel. M |

Thanks guys, the video was really informative. Well it told me what I already knew, but it helped confirm. I thought about doing the x as well to keep the bit from walking. Again thanks for all the quick info. |

And gloves, Thanks, the X worked like a charm. But so do titanium bits. |

when i built mine we used a decent drill bit for metal and just went at it, holes took seconds to drill, its the cutting that takes longer |
