The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

is the vid choppy or was it just my computer f'ing up?

either way thats RAD!!!

im working on a fully funtional smartgunner armour set, with working everything. from camera and comms to the tracking on the gun and eye piece. i have everything set in motion but the thermal imaging camera right now. $2500 for a mini IR camera. but when its all done, itll work as it was designed. until that camera comes in, nightvision is the best i can do.

Hmm, PC won't play any vids on that site, so I'm rebooting the PC to check again, as I was playing with gfx card settings before trying the link, so that might have affected it.

Tried viewing the vid on the PC again and it still gives an error message. :|

Other sites' vids (Facebook, YT, etc.) all play fine, it's just Photobucket vids giving errors. :?

Working fine here - Everybody (well, Vito at least) on line... looking good!!

Callum - Great font.
I love the fact that the Mission Time counts down, too.

Some constructive feedback:
How much of this is done in post-production? Can you increase the grainy-ness of the picture, enhance the colour and then apply a blue filter?
That would really add authenticity to the shot... maybe add in a sporadic bit of overlaid static interference (from the structures, of course).

It might just be Photobucket, but the vid looks a touch stretched, vertically.
What kind of camera is this?

Yeah, Well this was filmed on a JVC handheld. Originally. Once my DVR comes. You can set the saturation, contract ect.etc. and edit it aswell.

The production are titles layered on the video. Saved as a permanant templates. So if i have an hour long video. i have to sit maybe for twice aslong to edit the timmer. But i intend to get it exactly spot on. Originally sound will be recorded and hooked through a CB radio for the perfect frequency.

So, ether get them videos to me or i have something the experiment with maybe next Aliens NSC

Cheers

Callum
