Hi guys and girls. Has anyone got a pic of the inner armour liner for the M69 flak jacket? Been googling like mad but cant find anything. Cheers, Matt |

Not sure what you mean? You want a pic of the inside of the jacket? I have an Israeli one, if that's any good? |

Sorry Steve, i meant the actual armour 'plate' material - the fragmentation protection material. I just wanted to see how thick/what shape it is. |

How's this? Liner is 12.277mm thick, according to my neighbour's digital caliper. The outside casing is a thick weave nylon-sort-of material. Feels just like the stuff Fire Blankets are made of. Inside this casing is a many-layered tightly packed, overlapping affair comprising pieces of fabric. I've heard this is layers of compressed kapok, but old cotton sheets or similar will do just as well.
