Although I could not be there to present them personally, I would like to offer my congratulations to this year's recipients:

Rex Adams and Derek Smith.


Both Rex and Derek have been long term members of this forum. Rex joined our group in 2006. His good nature, welcoming online presence, and dedication to USCM events at D-Con have been a terrific asset to this forum! Derek has been with our group for over 9 years. His efforts with our ever improving annual fan table at Dragon Con (as well as his all around friendly persona) solidified his Gold Award this year.

Both Rex and Derek are well deserving of this award!

Once again congratulations to you both!

Derek and Rex are both great guys, top marines and the dress blues this year looked beautiful!!!

I love being a Colonial Marine, I LOVE destroying my vocal cords once a year to hear the crowd cheer us on and I L O V E spending time with so many great guys who just do it for the love of the movie.

Congratulations Rex and Derek....well deserved!!!

Cpl Smith, your devotion and dedication to the Corps is an inspiration to all of us. A veteran amongst us, first recipient of the Colonial Marine Decoration and fourth recipient of the Most Valuable Marine decoration... truly a great Marine.

Sgt Adams, you zest and zeal towards your duties toward to the Corps can barely be paralleled nor matched by another. From the very beginning, you embrace our Corps with love and gratitude and etched your own place within. With much thanks to you, the Atlanta Colony drop was a blazing success... and will not be soon forgotten.
