If you want to go there...the Casey's General Store in Rockford, Minnesota had a rack of them. These are the old Laramie ones with working slides. $4 each, bright orange.

I had one of these 20 years ago, when they were black :) It's a decent replica, but the "spring" for the slide is actually a rubber band. Easy to take apart and paint.

I would have picked one up, if I didn't already have a Tanio Koba.

I went to the two local Casey's stations but neither of them had the VP70. However, they did have a 9mm which simply kicks ass. It's sooo detailed, sand down the flash, fill in the screw holes and give it a coat of gunmetal and you'd have yourself a very realistic pistol.
