The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Spat, eBay (occasionally comes up for bid), Resin-movie-productions (global_uplink from eBay)......Spat seems like a stand up guy though so I'd go with him

The one I got from Spat is superb. But, I believe ol' Spat does not sell just the camera, only on a completed helmet.

There's a seller on eBay named coolmodels and he/she currently offers a helmet camera.
No idea what its quality is like.

**edit**
It has been proven on another forum that some of the items this person sells are recasts.

I'm not condoning recasting in any way but I'd imagine it would be near impossible to find a camera that's not a recast (i.e. cast from an original helmet camera).

I think by "recast" in this case, it's a cast of a cast of an original. So twice removed. Most people are looking for a camera that's only once removed from the original.

Some Aliens prop replicas have been traded around more times than a hat at a potluck supper.

Exactly. Some of the ones out there are casts of casts of casts of casts of casts of casts and so on, and so on.

It's tough to find one that's a true first gen, and in good shape.
