I was just looking at the following photos of the screen used Hudson armour:   And comparing to other photos of Hudson online, such as these:   And ive noticed the skulls don't appear to match in design or placement. Also the camo patterns arent the same So, has this set been re-painted at some time or is this a another set that wasnt used for filming? Any thoughts on this? Lewis |

There were many different sets of armour made for each character. More than one for each was used during filming. |

The first two photos are of the set that Harry owns. The second two are, as you know, from Terry's website. They are probably of the set that he owns or possibly the third set owned by someone else. As they are photos from on set it's difficult to say but there are some people that would probably know for sure. All the armour was hand painted so there are differences between all of them but not so noticeable that it made any difference where the filming was concerned. Cheers Darren |

According to Terry English yes, there were. In terms of the Hudson armour the 3 sets are still around as Terry owns one and a fellow collector and very good friend of mine owns the third. Harry |

Thanks Harry. It would be nice to get photos of all three sets....together would be even more interesting! And so were they all used during filming or were some back ups incase, and not actually screen used? |

I have a photo of all three sets somewhere, they appeared together in an exhibition I did at the National Space Centre a few years ago. In terms of screen use I've never found my set on screen or in any photos I've seen to date, but I know it's original and have written confirmation from Terry that it's definitely one of the three sets he made, and that's good enough for me! I wore it for a promo photo shoot for Alien War; one of the photos appeared in Time Out magazine before A.W. opened. I also wore it for an Alen War article Sky News filmed where we set the full-size Queen up in Picadilly Circus next to the Eros statue. Harry |

Lots of great details in this behind-the-scenes pic: (note the color of the welder, the "D" on the bottom of the stunt pulse rifle, the wire that operates the lamp, etc.)

Very nice picture it also appears to show that Hudsons' belt pouches are devoid of any buckles or webbing straps. I took a copy and lightened it up and still couldn't see any buckles/straps. |

I agree it probably is Velcro. However the point I was attempting (and presumably failing  ) to make was that everyone always seems to have the 2 pouches with Webbing Straps around them in a cross pattern and a Fastex Buckle on the larger pouch and yet clearly these are not that configuration!

To quote the lyrics of Mr Jim Steinman "You took the words right outta my mouth"! Just don't try kissing me to do it or I'll kick the teeth outta your mouth!  Then again I suppose someone could argue that since this is a behind scenes pic and I don't think they're ever seen on the screen they are not screen accurate!
