The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

COOL! :D Saved it to my favourites!

I'm not sure it's ready for wrestling an Alien Bitch Queen just yet though!

Personally I think this one looks even more interesting!

And I looked into this, the parent company which owns the outfit that designed and built this suit -- Yutani Corporation. How about that .. 8)

I've seen a few exoskeleton suit prototypes publicised in the last couple of years but none quite as small as that HULC jobby. I would love to try that!

Not quite the same thing but I remember seeing this about a year ago and being amazed by it, especially when it's walking (and slipping) on the Ice!

Now that is something, be interesting to see how long production models will be in Military hands working away.

The Big Dog is indeed impressive especially on the icy surface! A bit noisy perhaps at present for combat use but I'm sure that can be resolved.

Going back to the HULC system another potential benefit I can see for Military users in harsh broken terrain like the Afghan mountains would hopefully be a substantial reduction in lower leg injuries like twists, sprains and even breaks! Thus helping keep the maximum number of combat effective troops in the field! And without being overly graphic or gruesome it could even save some guys from losing lower limbs if they are unlucky enough to be caught in an IED Blast!
