Not 100% on which forum to put this in but it seems on topic for the Readyline.

As some may know, a few of the UKCM guys helped out some students at Bournemouth Uni the other month on an assignment they were working on.

The brief was to produce a short video which demonstrated various cgi wizardry techniques. There is no story or plot.

This is the video that they handed in. However, they have not yet added sound or music. Still looks pretty damn awesome though.

Before anyone says anything, these guys aren't Aliens fans as such so were obviously not too worried about matching the exact sound of the Pulse Rifle.

plus there is also an interesting "making of", showing all the various levels/stages that go into each shot.

The uni has over 3,300 videos on there, many just called ‘showreel’ and the student’s name going back to 2010, so they may still be there, but it’s difficult to search as you can’t sort them in date order. :?
