Any of the graphics guys know the fonts (or similar)

For: WEYLAND YUTANI CORP

"Building Better Worlds"

+ Marine Dog Tags

I'm making a special plate for my GE light and would like to
replace the GE logo with a WY and slogan.

I'm a product guy, so my font knowledge sucks.

Weyland-Yutani Corp is Eurostile (also known as Square 721, Eurose, Microbus, etc etc) Bold Extended.

Dog tags are a mixture of Helvetica and Helvetica Condensed. (Not Arial - many people think they're the same, but they're not.)

Building Better Worlds - this has been discussed before and nobody's ever found it (that we know of). My personal opinion is that it was drawn specially; it looks a bit odd. I don't even know of a font that looks close... but then I work with fonts so I'm picky. ;) You may well find something along the same lines which look good enough for your purposes. Good luck! :)

Looks good.

I created this "building Better Worlds" font a couple of years ago. If you like it (or some of it) better, then feel free to use it. I see the "e" is different than on mine.

Mine looks like this:

Simpler than that: rank and name Helvetica, serial number Helvetica Condensed. :)

Sorry to bring up this thread again.

My girlfriend is getting her company event pass tags cut on
1/16 clear acrylic, so I thought,,, why not piggyback
my dog tags that I've been meaning to do.

Please don't ask me to make any of these, there is
a member who already does them.

What do you guys think?
