Three inch Aliens in an 'Alien ant farm'? :o
Hand to hand combat between a man and a cat Alien? :|
A homosexual encounter? :shock:

Jon Spaihts is known to be writing the script. Somebody posted a PDF of said script on IMDB (so it must be true :lol: ) which claims to be written by him.
ALIEN HARVEST. I've attached it here using the AL attachment feature which will make Gareth happy 8)

Sounds a lot like the novrel 'Alien Harvest'.
Doctor has a robot alient hat is able to go into the hives and steal the royal jelly.
He also has a tiny ant robot that captures it all on tape.

Cameron strikes again. As much as I love ALIENS he should have never compared them to bugs. They are bio-machines.

That script is as bad as Avatar. :)

Because 'biggest fan' doesn't always mean best screenwriter.

Besides, they have to appeal to the masses who haven't neccesarily seen all the movies and learned all the background - Hence things like AVP.

Oftentimes, I've fancied myself a writer or something and I do actually have some great ideas for some movies... but reading my own attempts at actually writing novels and screenplays, it becomes clear I am nothing more than just another gushing fanboy and should best leave the writing to people like Ridley!!

Ever seen the Dungeons & Dragons movie?
Case in point.


However, there are some folks here who are good writers, so I see nothing wrong if they wanna submit some scripts. I'd sincerely wish them the best of luck if they did - That would be a very cool thing to happen!!

Not that they should ever be mentioned in the same physical space...but when I worked on (pardon my language) CLOVERFIELD they generated a terrific DISINFORMATION campaign up to and including the location signs. Any ALIEN-related project should be able to exert heavy control ala WAR OF THE WORLDS (where papparazzi in the shrubbery at Universal was their worst problem0. If you screw up after you sign a NDA and they find you...you will be raked over the legal coals. Studios don't take kindly to piracy of any sort.

HA HA HA~!!!!! this reeks of ALIEN 3 (the second best? movie) and James Cameron..good God peoples this has to be a fake,
either that or the screenwriters are busy changing everything after this horrific leak! ...now to be released in 2013 I guess..

Reeks is just the right word. It's still listed as 'in Development' with a (2011) date attached (the last update on IMDb Pro was June '09 so who knows?) It could still be in treatment/outline form and I would imagine the death of Dan O'Bannon earlier this year caused them to possibly rethink their approach. I hope they keep it completely under wraps.

My only problem is everyone realizes that they'll probably do their best to tie EVERYTHING together, including AvP and AvP:R...
