Just a thought, but as the worldwide launch of Avatar is approaching fast, the best opportunity to present an Aliens Legacy Gold Award to Mr Cameron might be at one of the premieres of the film?

By Odin, he's right. You won't get near either of them at an Avatar premiere. They'll be sealed of and under escort. Besides which, the crowds will be huge and you wouldn't want to be in costume among that lot, you'd get some broken armour I'm sure. I think as far as ALGA go, when it comes to Weaver and JC, I would say let's see what effect the documentary about the awards on the upcoming Quadrilogy has. Hopefully they will become aware of the awards at some point (Trevor is sending Sigourney a dvd) and then I would say there may be a shot around 2011 (25th anniversary), or at some point Spat may even have her at one of his conventions. Spat may well become a major player in that world which may open up possible opportunities in future. My feeling is, the presentations for those two should be as special as we can make them. Just mah ten cents. |

Now ADC that sounds like a very Positive outlook for the near future of presenting the Main 2 with the ALG. Hell think what it`d be like to get as many of the ALIENS stars in one place at once to for the 25th Anniversary (Spat if you choose to accept this mission........This message will self destruct). Would be great to make it as Special As Possible for these two though. Jason |

I wasn't implying someone stand amongst the crowds behind the barriers and throw it at them.  Just that someone with connections at Fox might be able to arange a little meeting with them before/after the filming at the venue. Just my two pence. I'll be in mah bunk.

Ah, so that's your bunk. Take those rude pictures down, at once!  Those kind of connections would be nice but unfortunately I don't think they exist. There will probably be strict restrictions on media as well at those events. One possibility would be where I met JC once before, at an Imax screening Q&A. He may well do one of these. The way to approach that would be to go to his agent first, way in advance. That may be a possibility, although he's always going to be a long shot. |
