The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

For those who don't know, five more Aliens Legacy Gold Awards were given out at this Dragon*Con. :)

Would anyone who was there and took photos, please either send them to me or send me a link?

I need photos to go on the Wall of Fame, so they would ideally be of the recipient holding the certificate/badge. If nobody took these, I'll take what I can get.

Don't worry - I think that Derek, Dom and Kevin handled it all beautifully.

For the fan awards presented at the dinner, I have photos (although they won't be good enough), Darren was taking photos and I think Dom and others were also.

For Michael Biehn, I believe Derek and Dom managed to get some good shots of him holding the award at his signing table?

I also have a minor surprise for the people who couldn't be at D*Con, but until I've finished it I will maintain an impenetrable wall of silence.

Dom got some great pics of me presenting Michael with the release from that needed to be signed for us to film it..
Darren went to Michael Biehns table on Sunday and got some pics of him with the award, as well as him wearing the wings...
As far as anyone getting the actual presentation, everyone was on stage..but I know Gareth filmed it.

Many congratulations to all the award winners - all very well deserved.
Among many other reasons as I'm sure we all know, I can vouch for Andy & Darren who've worked relentlessly at being prime examples of professionalism when it comes to being ambassadors for our favourite movies.

I suppose it goes without saying many thanks are owed to Derek for making the presentation to Michael Biehn. I can't wait to see Gareth's footage of that! And well done with the MVM award, Cpl!
The presentation looks to me like it may have been the best yet. To my knowledge that's the largest costuming group to be with a cast member so far, and Biehn is arguably the biggest cast member we've awarded to as well. Great team effort!

And I hope Andy Spencer & Darren won't mind me adding how trim they look there, too!
Maybe the Sarge should start dishing out awards for getting in shape!

Once more I'd like to thank the ALG committee for bestowing this honour upon me. I am incredibly happy to see that the hard work I've put into our community has been acknowledged in this prestigious fashion. To walk shoulder to shoulder with previous winner fills me with great pride.

I can only hope to continue to render the service to the Corps that has led me towards these golden wings.

Many congratulations, Dom! I didn't realise that was your award presentation in the top photograph (!),
I hope there is one of you with the award as well.
There's no way to quantify your contribution because you've done so much.
I would like to echo your sentiment and say well done to the committee –– the ALGA's are indeed an honour and have gone from strength to strength. Can't wait to read some of those personal reports from this years DCon!

Actually, that top photo is Dom receiving his "other" award.

Furthermore to this, I received the much coveted "Chrome Dome" award... not to be confused with the "Chrom Dom" award.

OK - explain please -- 'Chrome Dome' award? :?:

By the way, to reiterate Mike's request for photo's of the Michael Biehn award presentation,
I would like to use some in my documentary but I'd have to have them by Sunday at the latest. So if you're interested in contributing (you'll get a credit), please post them here or email them to me (PM for my address).
But please make sure to send them to Mr Rush as well. :)

I'd like to echo Mike's request for pictures of the ALG award winners as well. He hasn't received any responses (sorry Travis but Mike needs some clearer pictures for the ALG Wall of Fame).

Perhaps if no pics are forthcoming the winners could take the time to take a pic of themselves with the award?

Also with the other awards that evening- again it might be polite to start a separate thread rather than continue to hijack Mike's request thread. :)

- and Matt!

Thanks for the photos Gareth - just what I need. :) I'm putting them up on the Wall for now, but please don't be offended if someone has better pictures and I change them.

Still looking for Michael Biehn...

Matt will just have to take his own. ;)
