Hi Marines,
Just thought I'd share an update of this lil' project I've been working on. It's almost complete, just have the underside left to do. It's taken a while and it's nice to see the light at the end of the tunnel. 8)

Has anyone done a deck plan of the Nostromo as well?

Can someone show/tell me where the shuttle went on the Nostromo , ive never been able to work it out.

Sure; the Narcissus is located between the 'nacelle' and the main body, under the wing; when looking at the plan above, it's under the wing at the bottom of the image.
There have been some interior set blueprints for sale of A Deck that were used for the movie; Darrell Curtis had a website previously called 'The Nostromo Files' and he has reposted his take on the interior layout here.

Was gonna post this:

http://johneaves.wordpress.com/2009/05/ ... tin-bower/

and say that the shuttle was roughly where the 'C' in SPACE is on the bottom pic, but don't need to now. :)

Interesting that those deck plans show positions for two shuttles. :wink:

Space Jockey

Could I get a high res version of the blue prints?

I'm thinking of doing something similar to this for the Nostromo and Sulaco:

Clicky for a massive hoooge pic:

(For you nitpickers: The spelling mistakes in the linked MSD are intentional. Little in-joke between me and the person who comissioned me to do it.)

Padsbrat;

I have no plans to release any high-res images of my work, certainly not in a digital form. They have taken a great deal of time and effort to do, but I do wish you the best of luck in your projects. 8)

This is where the prints are currently at; they are on their way to a modelmaker who worked in the Alien modelshop to look at and some redline comments, which was very kind of him to do. Not all the technical info is on there yet.

Thanks;

This is great work – I've been following with much interest. Along with Derek Hayes 'Giger' Alien Suit and Steve, Danita & Richie's Environmental suit there is something of a happening Alien revival right now, and all of these projects are amazing examples.
I'll certainly be up for purchasing a print when these come up - would look great hanging on the wall!
