There are several US forces cadence tapes/CDs available. SEALs, Army Rangers, Army and several Marines volumes. There's even a series called Run To Cadence. Failing that, I've written a few myself before. I can also play drum tattoos if someone has recording equipment. |

I made this one back in 2007 (sung to the tune of "C-130 Rollin' Down the Strip"): APC FULL OF BADASS GRUNTS.... COLONIAL MARINES GOIN' ON A BUG HUNT! GEAR UP, GET HOT, READY AT THE DOOR... RUN RIGHT OUT AND SHOUT MARINE CORPS! PULSE RIFLE, SMARTGUN BY MY SIDE... THESE ARE THE TOOLS THAT MAKE BUGS DIE! IF THE BUGS DESTROY THE DROPSHIP... THAT’S OK WE’VE GOT SHARP STICKS! IF THE BUGS FIGURE OUT THE FLOOR PLAN... NUKE THIS JOINT, OR IT’S GAME OVER MAN! IF I DIE ON THE COMBAT DROP... TAKE WHAT’S LEFT TO THE BUTCHER SHOP! BOX ME UP WITH A PACK OF SMOKES... BURY ME AND CALL MY FOLKS! TELL MY MOMMA NOT TO CRY... THE MARINE CORPS MOTTO IS SEMPER FI! We didn't use it as it was a little too much. The key however is for a cadence to be simple. Simple works as it is less likely to trip up anyone repeating the chant, and the more comfortable everyone is, the louder they will shout it.  Kevin |
