watched it, very nice love all the little CGI bits they used to tie it all together and then to have the CGI ship land in front of the model shop where the origanl was made and shot was a great way to end it. Love all the stories they have about have much fun they had working on the movie.

Oh and watch past the credits, they mention the nostromo restoration again. Same photos but to see it in context with all the history that played out first is great.

A bit frustrating I have not found a way to download it using my normal methods seems they are using a host that specializes in their content being not easily downloadable. Just glad they made it at all though. Can't wait until it shows up on a blu ray or something.

I tried too. The URL/name of the file seems to just be listed as a series of numbers, so doubt anyone will be able to grab it.

ALWAYS a hurdle when attempting to recreate modelwork from Alien.
The amount spent on kits was just in the stratosphere back then, and trying to accumualte the sheer number, let alone a lot of them are now rare can be a right put-off.
Its a bit of an extreme example but:
The Panzer Wagon i recently bought for 27 quid and just for one part for the Gateway Shuttle?
That was used around the engine bells of the Nostromo.
SIXTEEN of them - for EACH engine bell!!!!!!!!

Just as an FYI: Dennis Lowe and Jon Sorensen are planning on releasing the ISO files for fans to download and create their own DVDs of the docu.

After reading Willie's initial post here I shared the news with the members of Alien Experience. The day following that post Dennis and Jon registered to ask for assistance in hosting the documentary since the amount of traffic to Dennis' site was taxing his bandwidth.

AXP now is helping host the online docu. and will be home to the ISO files when they become available.
