Can upload a .tif file, forum doesnt like it. I think they are clearer than jpgs. |

Save it as a png. It will be smaller and just as clear (lossless compression). I will enable TIFF, but they are normally HUGE. |

Well, that confirms my suspicion that their boots had shiny silver coloured toecaps.... Never noticed the padded spats over the boots before though. |

Nice to have some decent high res pictures to look at. I have to be honest... In comparison to the USCM stuff, the WY stuff looks naff. Are the face masks supposed to be some form of facehugger protection? |

Thanks Steve. Someone once pointed out to me that the commandos with the welder's goggle appear to be wearing what looks like a modified Colonial Marine helmet... any thoughts? |

The helmets were made using a cycling helmet (French one I believe) as the base and then all the face plates and rear lobsters added on. Cheers Darren |

Love the design of the helmet as a stand alone piece of art... but to protect against xenos who wish to impregnate you orally with a rude looking proboscis... do not want! M |

I thought that the WY soldiers costume looks custom made or altered for encountering Xenos. The Helmet to protect from teeth attacks and face huggers. The suit looks to be acid splash resistant. Almost as if the Company is well aware of what the Xeno is and what it can do. The soldiers were given the best battle dress avalible to give them a chance if fighting broke out with the Xenos. |

if you have ever played the AVP game that came out a few months ago through the entire predator campaign. There is a similar unit you fight through out most of it that are androids and they all look very close to these commandos as seen in alien 3 so maybe they are 1 and the same my guess is...yes they are |

If you read the end of the USCM: Technical Manual, they are discussing ways to combat the bug. So when the company arrived, they were preparded. |
