The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

I always thought that the line "you always say that Frost. You always say, I got a bad feeling about this drop." was from Spunkmeyer. Now that I think of it, he's upin the controls. So who's voice is that. Did bowski or crowe actually get a line?

The illustrated screenplay (which seems to be the first draft) doesn't have those lines - but there's a supposed final draft here:

http://www.planetavp.com/AL/Multimedia/Scripts/a2final.doc

which attributes the line to Wierzbowski.

Both Tip Tipping and Trevor Steedman being English and the voice heard is (IMHO) American, so if it was supposed to be said by either of their characters, the voice was replaced in ADR. :)

Didn't they advertise for (and hire) actors who could speak with an American accent? It could have been 'ski!

I'm with Fal that I had heard the line was credited to Crowe...

However wasn't he nicknamed the "Silent Marine"? Or was that Wierzbowski?

I always thought the voice itself sounded like Spunkmeyer's.

Too bright and bouncy in tone for Spunkmeyer.
It has a Hudson feel to it, but is gentler and less full of testosterone.

I agree with Humvee about the accents, but since I don't yet know how Trevor sounds, I reckon that's Crowe.

Who's camera is on screen when the line is spoken?

Well, I asked Trevor.
He does believe it was him.

Also, during the On The Ready Line scene, just before Apone barks, "Move it out, gawd-dammitt", you hear someone shout, "YO!".
That was Trevor!
