The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

It's one of Chris' first welders.

Hope this helps.

I have one of these too, it's on display with my Hudson costume at the moment. It's a great casting by Chris, and kudos to Stefan (Pulseriflefan) too for making the master. :)

That looks like a recast of a Marco Ent. Welder if my memory serves me correctly.

It looks like it is 2/3 scale. :?

That or your hands are sasquatch hands Travis.

Could it be that the sculpt was done using Marco pics as a reference but the sculptor got the size wrong?

Top button on mine is concave as well- the smaller button underneath is flat.

It looks like it is 2/3 scale.

Funny I thought I was 1/6 scale.

(I'm joking too Bro  )

From the top of the screws (just below the shield thingy) to the very bottom mine is 8 1/2 inches.

Mine's bigger than yours! :P

If it's a recast, it may be a fourth or fifth generation cast.

If someone is using the hell out of a mold and doesn't know what they are doing, the mold will shrink over time, and thus the casts too.

Looks like someone tweaked an old Marco welder.

Anyone have any difinative info on how the welders were 'slung'?

Like what kind of clip, D-ring, swivel ,etc and placement of said clip?
