The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Hi All, sorry for the long over due update. My pattern maker had some major surgury along with other health issues. All is well now.

All that is left is to do the paneling. The hardest part is over, figuring out the dimensions! This truely will be the most accurate Sulaco kit to date. A big thanks to all of those who have helped with super rare pictures and info. I shoud have parts in two weeks to start casting. I will have a price as soon as I start pouring rubber.

The first run will be an Aliens Legacy Forum only. Buyer's must show proof of membership. No exceptions! IF I feel like doing more than I will open sales up to the rest of the world. And with that said ... here are the pictures!

I'm estimating the kit to be around $500. That's for a nearly 4 feet long Sulaco! Things seem to be progressing very fast now. I'll have another large update by next weekend.

Hey George

Is there going to be any room for lighting to be installed? Or will it be capable of being lit without alot of work?

I would love this kit and having been looking forward to it for a while, but $500 is alot of money and I may have to unfortunately pass on it; I was hoping it would be in the same price bracket as the Primetime version...

It's going to be about 4 feet long. How much did you think it was going to be?
The pattern work alone has taken 4 months off and on. Not to mention all of the researce that has gone in to the drawings. Rubber alone is going to be a lot. I don't want to come off as an ass but, rubber and resin are expensive and they are just going up.

How many seperate pieces are you planning on casting this in?
I imagine it will require many moulds.

No two piece clamshell mould here! :)

Nice cheap shot George. (Primetimes'..laughing emoticon, yeah, his is nice). Why can't you let Erasmus' Sulaco stand on it's own merit. On the other hand, everytime you cheap shot me I sell another kit! :)

Right, guys... If this is friendly banter, you should probably cut it out as it looks bad for both parties.

If, on the other hand, it's genuine aggression - You WILL cut it out.

These forums are becoming well-known as one of the friendliest places online, and we welcome all... Please don't ruin that reputation with bickering.

I have no problem with that as long as certain people remain professional. George has been taking shots at my Sulaco ever since I started the project....I finally had had enough. I believe in selling on your merit and not by bashing anothers work.
I offer a great kit, great customer service and at a very reasonable price. All that said, Erasmus' Sulaco should be a big hit, he does very good work.
