The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Never really take many pictures of my gear, but after a looooonnnngggg wait i've at least got it so i'm happy with it.

Based on a deactivated MG53 with a mix of real parts, Matsuo parts and home-made stuff. Front struts are mounted further back than normal causing the front grip perch to be taller (just so it can be put back to a standard MG53 if needed). Trigger handle nowhere near accurate but it was something i had lying around and does the job fine. So, future jobs will be a new front perch and a revamp of the light/sound features.

Managed to get her signed by Jenette Goldstein last year, hopefully i'll be able to get Mark Rolston before too long.

Anyway, here's 'Ivy'....

Outstanding work. :)
Like Bill Hargreaves said props like these have to have a certain weight.
Your M56A2 is a very good expamle here.
