The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Dom there's casting and there's recasting. I think what's being discussed here is casting an actual, found part - not someone else's work (Unless you count whoever it was at Seiko who designed the things!) ;)

Didn't see it as an issue. No one seems bothered by the ear defender or the pulsemeter.

Everything canon is someone elses intellectual property anyway

I have all the materials to make SA hack pouches.

It took me awhile to gather all the materials.

I even have the binding with the correct pattern.

It will be like my flare project.

I can post some picts of all the found bits later today.

I posted the pulsemeter part in the original thread.

Pretty much everything on the outer panels, I have.

Center panel is the hard one....

I found these, not sure if they are close enough. Funny, that I've never seen these before.

Probably why I assumed they were scerwdrivers in the kit. :D

https://www.micro-tools.com/store/item_detail.aspx?ItemCode=SCR-913-00

very excited about the prospect of getting one though. I know lots of you love making your own stuff, but I might have to wait for one.
I love my flare pouch, even though it doesn't do anything.

Is there a time estimate for these to be made?

Here's what I got so far:

Since with such sucess with the DS helmet part IDing, maybe we
can get some of these nailed.

As you can see, the right and left are not too bad. Still looking for
some smaller clips,etc.

Any picts of internal sl-80 calculators for ribbon cables?

The keypad could be from an old telco buttset or entry keypad sim.
to the one I have here from IEI.

I'm a little busy with other stuff, but the helmet bits are wrapping

up, and my sample maker keeps asking me if I have anything for

her.

I have all the material, all I have to do is make some mock ups
based on my blue prints that I've already done.
Just want to double check all the dimensions..

Not too far around the corner, I guess I'll do these before the
AB pad. It will be a one time go, just like the Flare pouch.

I'd be in for one. Even if it only has half of the screen accurate parts, it would still be 100% better than what I cobbled together.

Fantastic work with the one`s already shown here & like the ethos behind them too. Something a Marine makes himself.

With that though Matt`s proposed set looks mighty tempting :D

That button pad looks like something from a code lock on a door?
I used to have to punch in a code to unlock the door to a staff only area at my old place of work.

It is similar to the IEI keypads.
