The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

I copied and pasted the link...

Yeah he's really going to appreciate that when he's at a pool party in his 50s.

Impressive artwork... but dumb. Just dumb.

20 years from now and wrinkling. The chestburster will end up in his stomach. Not to mention the distortion. I admire the bravery but do not commend the stupidity of getting it.

But great work!

Right click the red x.

Select "Properties".

Put your pointer/cursor over the URL and right click.

Select "Select All" (this will highlight the URL).

You can now copy the URL and paste it into your browser's address box.

Can't post a direct link... Board rule #3.

Right click on the image and go to properties. You will see the image link on there. Copy and paste it in to your browser.

EDIT: Sarge beat me to it.

Cheers

And his breasts.

What kills me is he probably isn't even a hardcore fan of the movies. This strikes me as one of several "cool" tattoos he plans on completely covering his body with... none of which that would have more significance over the other.

If he is a fan... someone invite him here.

Damn. I really gotta stop looking at this thread. Cos every time I look, I become more tempted. And although tattoo removal will probably be simple by the time I go to pool parties in my 50s, stil ...

Also, I have no fat at all on my breast bone, it would probably hurt! ;)

I think the tattoo is pretty cool and well done. I also think the weight comments crack me up seeing as this board is prodominately over weight middle aged men dressing up as army guys.

Seriously, you may think his ink is stupid, but it's not any dumber than what any of us do. Stop the hate.

You obviously haven't been to the workout thread in the OT....everyone here is slimming down and doing a damn good job at it;)
Besides, any fat guy who can laugh at another fat guy is alright in my book.

I've got to agree with Dan AKA here folks - I'm a believer in treating people how I expect to be treated; I don't think any of you would like it if people said that stuff about you.

Play fair or the thread is gone. You have been warned.

Okay let me try and put this more eloquently.

Sometimes there are things we do in our youth that while they may seem like a good idea at the time, in our later years will not seem so positive.

I'm sure we've all done some things that if we were given the chance, would do differently a second time.

I have two tattoos. The Kanji script that is in my banner and a tribal dragon on my left arm. At the time that I had them done (1998) I was completely over the moon about them. I couldn't stop admiring them and showed them off to everyone.

A couple of years later, I didn't stare at them in the mirror as much. Couple of more years and the novelty had worn off. Today I would still retain the Kanji as it does have meaning... but if there was a non-scarring tattoo removal that didn't cost hundreds of dollars... the dragon would go bye-bye.

It just seems like the guy is covering himself in "cool" tattoos. He has a tribal art on his right arm and snakes around his neck (probably one snake with two heads). The chestburster strikes me as a "flavour of the month" tattoo. I see no real rythme or reason to it (not that it is a prerequisite for tattoos).

Stuff like this is cool to look at- but I believe we just need a reality check sometimes that tattoos are permanent. And what might be awesome today might seem ridiculous later in life. But once the ink is there- it's too late. I guess I'm trying to say look before you leap with something like this. And yes... I could have been less crass about it in my first post.

My breast comment was uncalled for. However obesity is no stranger to me either.
