Hi all

I just finished working on this, I posted in someone else thread about how to attach a scope to a PR that I liked the one in the PR Manual that Derrick B did. Anyway, i thought I'd have a crack at it and this is the result. Not 100% like the one in the manual and I added a couple of things and lost a couple of others. Anyway :







It's my first attempt making something from plasticard and bits and bobs so dont be too harsh

Darren it was my thread that you posted on about this scope....looks a good job you done there......
just working out how its attached to the PR , from what i can see part of the scope slots into the PR sight? how else is it attached?

It isn't mate. It's a nice snug fit and that's it. In the manual there is a plate that goes under the sight rail and a screw goes from the scope, through the rail and a fastener is put on the other side. I didnt want to drill a hole through my rail though so I left it like this. It doesn't fall out or slide back and forth though so it's good as is.

The buttons on the side are the playback controls from my old Mini DV camera, the buttons on the opposite side behind the raised part are the zoom controls from same camera and the knob bits on the back are from one of the battery box's that were used for the sentry guns. The left side infront of the eye cup are the in/out av connector and SVideo connector fro mthe same DV camera again.
This is where a cable will plug in and then go into the helmet so that the user can see the scopes POV through the eye sight on the helmet. (wont actually work of course LOL)
The eye cup I found for £1 or something on ebay.

i reckon it would look a hell of a lot better if it was the same shade of green as the shroud. Other than that its pretty great.

Nah, I think it should be a slightly different shade. It's an add on, not a part of the shroud. It needs to look like a separate part.
