ok before everyone throws up there arms in horror thinking this is another debate ...do i paint the pulse rifle BB or OD ? ![]() ......that is not what im asking..... the G&P kit...im going to repaint the shrouds and G/L ..... already got loads of paint for the shrouds...but what colour G/L ?..... not seen a real one so not sure on the exact colour.... anyone help? also is it just the shrould need re-painting..? it was my plan just to re-paint anything that is green.....do i need to re-paint any other parts of the pusle rifle... i want to get rid of the 'plastic ' look of the G&P kit |

my whole G+P is repainted, except the pump + handle grips. I painted my cage a semi flat black. There's a few extra holes in the spas cage, you might want to fill those in too. |

Thanks for that... i have decided not to re-paint the Thompson as well just the G&P kit.... now to find the right black paint.... ![]() |

i was thinking of Halfords....... not yet decided .....spray or brush? spray G/L .... if i can get it to work , as i have not used it in year or so, airbrush the shrouds...if not then paint it with brush. |

If i can get my compressor working as not used it in a while....and find my airbrush... ![]() going to paint, pulse rifle, shoulder lamps, and any thing else i can find .... ![]() |

hey dude im no expert but i painted my scratch built cage with halfords very high temperature black spray paint over a halfords grey primer its made for exhausts and stuff its a matt finish but a quick rub over when dry gives a semi flat colour see the pics on my post for finish/look dont know if its the look your after but its a nice finish and fairly durable, |

just so there is no confusion i enclose a pic of what your looking for its realy easy to spray, bit thin so 3 or 4 fine coats this time of year as its cold allow extra dry time between coats, it dries fairly quickly indoors , i just rubbed it over with the oil on my hands it was just enough to remove the realy flat look and put a bit of a sheen on it quick buff with a cloth and there you go ![]() ![]() |

Thanks for that...! ![]() will be buying that plus some more primer on saturday, now i just got to mix upsome paint so i can use it in a airbrush..been a while since i picked up one so got to remember the ratio of paint to thinners for an air brush..... ![]() |
